Changing how people look at traditional storage solutions

Web Application

Introduction

Vault Personal Storage was a new venture to completely revolutionize how people look at traditional storage solutions. With the idea of a modernized version of self-storage, Vault plans to offer a new way to approach self-storage, allowing one to view easily, access, share, and even sell items that might be forgotten. From heirloom furniture, art, and excess documents, Vault is introducing a new set of possibilities for storing and interacting with our belongings outside our homes.

From idea to execution

Vault wanted a web application with an intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface.

This application would allow customers, no matter where they are, to place items into storage and have them returned to them by the Vault team or share and sell them to those interested. Vault wanted it easy for non-vault users to be invited and access the app, with almost instant access to what they may be looking for. I worked with the client to develop a modern, intuitive, fun interface with an enjoyable experience for users to engage with. I designed a flexible three-dimensional space with various items so users could visualize how much space storage space they would need and feel confident with their selection.

Intuitive interface

The interface was designed to allow users to quickly drag and drop items in and out of their storage unit and quickly sell and share things.

Design

Once I finished the user experience design, I moved on to the visual design phase.

I worked to create the website's branding and a cohesive look and feel through color, typography, and stylistic elements. The result was a pixel-perfect product version prototype that he could show potential investors.
